Welcome to HP Support Forum. What do you mean rate ? If you wish to scan faster, lower DPI would help but you may NOT get good results.

HP Recommended

My officejet appears to scan everything at a dpi of 72 pixels per inch.  The scans than are fairly poor quality.  How do I increase the scan to maybe 300 pixels per inch?  Is it possible to change the scan rate.
