Hi, my new HP has windows 10. I downloaded, etc some pics and now I need to 'delete' some pic. folders that I created. I went to the blue square titled 'pictures' under the start, and also clicked on the 'folder' icon on the task bar. I can't seem to know how to delete some pic folders that I don't want. I right click on folder but no delete. Can someone help me? Thank you!

Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP computer with WIn10. You would like to delete some pictures and picture folders that you created. You dont find a delete option when you right click on the folder.
- Please ensure that you are logged in as the administrator.
- I suggest you to click and select a particular folder you want to delete and then press the Shift+Del keys on the keyboard.
Another option to delete the folders is by doing the following:
Open and elevated command prompt and:
Use the del command to delete undeletable files: del “Path of File”
Use the RMDIR or RD command to delete undeletable folders: rd /s /q “Path of Folder”
- /S : Delete all files and subfolders in addition to the folder itself. Use this to remove an entire folder tree.
- /Q : Quiet – do not display Y/N confirmation
Hope this information helps. Feel free to let me know if you have any questions. Cheers! 🙂
