My CP2025 is connected directly to a server with a network cable. The only option I have for accessing any printer settings is by using the control panel on the printer itself. The EWS can be accessed directly from the server - except that the server has no monitor. The HP documentation indicates that I should have access to the EWS even if the printer is directly connected to a server and not directly to the network. Although the HP docs seem  written for an older version of OS X.

I have also tried connecting with a USB cable but that didn't work either.

Hi Rdy,

You can access the EWS by typing in the printers IP into a web browser.

I have tried that and do access the embedded web server.  However, a logon Name and Password is required to make setting changes.  I have no Name or Password and do not recall ever establishing them.  I can not find an avenue to obtain or reset Name and Password.

Hi there,

You can try and perform a "Restore to Factory Defaults", on the printer's Front Panel and try to access the EWS page.
