I tried the solution of putting router, printer and iPad power off and restarting, but still my iPad says no air printer found

This printer is not an air printer. There is an app called hPeprint that is free from the App Store. You then have to just follow the directions in order to use your printer through your router. I find that many times it does not see my printer when I need to print. All I do is power off the printer and power it back on again and eprint finds my wireless printer. You cannot print as an AirPrint function. You must open the document in another app (choose eprint) and it should work.
