Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Unable to scan to MS Word as I could do with my old HP 6500. I keep getting a PDF file which only wants me to pay more money.

You need a OCR program.

 

Free OCR software is available on the web.  Try these two as they work great.

http://www.paperfile.net/

Neither freebie worked well. User guide download no help. I made a mistake buying this machine. Thanks for trying.
