I am having trouble with my printer doing the alignment after I put in 2 new ink cartridges. The help section to align  gave me instructions but they didn't work. I just downloaded/installed my printer device driver update to see if that would  help. NO luck so far. Mu printer is a  F4480 Deskjet

Welcome back to the HP Support Forums! 🙂 I see you are trying to align the cartridges on your HP Deskjet F4480, you have tried following the steps and updating the driver with no success.

 

1. What is your current Operating system, Windows or Mac and which version?

 

2. How did you install the DJ F4480, using the software CD or download?

SOlution is worthless. I can print a page that shows me the black isout of alignment but when I click the "Align Cartridge" nothing happens.

Doesn't work. Cannot use the Align Cartridge feature.
