I have misplaced my owners manual for my HP5740 printer. I want to know if there is a proceedure on the printer that will enlarge a small picture and make a bigger copy?
If possible, can I get a replacement user manual?

Edits to context:
Depending on the actual printer model, this printer may not support the Copy function.
Printing photos (or image files) is controlled within the program you use to print the image.
For example, you can download and use
- HP Photo Creations for Windows and Mac
Photo Creations helps adjust the print settings when you choose the size of your print.
The free version of Photo Creations provides basic photo editing.
If you are looking for a simple means to getting the image onto paper, consider using Windows Photo Viewer - WPV has been around for ages; the program is easy to use and can produce prints of different sizes. Windows Photo Viewer comes installed with your Windows 7 Operating System.
You can use Paint to print photos / images, too. Paint is installed with your Windows 7 Operating System.

If your printer is the Officejet 5740 all-in-one you can download the user manual from HP here.
Page 39 of the user manual is not clear about resizing options. I would suggest reading the section and then check the "Settings" for options to change the scaling.
In the future you may have better results in the forum if you first read this post then provide plenty of details. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? Are there any error messages on the printer or computer screen?
