Is there a way to scan business card in the HP scan program? Is there a achive feature or organize feature in the HP scan program to find scan documents, photos and other things I have scaned?

The scan program in the printer software is not specialized for scanning and organizing business cards.

You can, of course, set up folders to organize as you like and then save the scans into these folders.

If you do a lot of this sort of thing, you might like to invest in the hardware and software.

I suggest you open / check websites for potential products and read the reviews before you purchase.

I am not sure what you are asking.

If you want to increase / reduce the size of the item, use Copy -- "Resize" (on those printers where the option is available) controls output size.

You can control (using scan program on computer) the size of the scan field.  Depending on the size of the image / document to be scanned, controlling the size of the scan field can reduce or prevent "white space" borders around your scan.

Examples include:

  • HP Scan Extended  > Page Size option > select scan field size or select "Entire Scan Area"

This program also provides "auto-detect" for image extraction from glass or from a document.

  • Webscan  - program available for network printer using the Embedded Web Server (EWS)

Open favorite browser > type Printer IP address in URL / address bar >

Scan > Scan to Computer > Webscan > Paper Size > Select scan field size

  • Windows Scan (trusted Windows Store app)

Find and install the application from the Windows Store

Program provides several scan file output types and the ability to change the scan folder destination.

Program does  not provide pre-set "field scan' control - the scan preview does provide a very decent scan preview and the ability to remove "white borders" from around the scanned image / document.
