HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-One - Windows 7 64-bit - - How do I scan directly to MS OneNote?  At this time I am scanning to MS Word, then I copy and then paste to Microsoft Office OneNote.

I use Microsoft office 2007....   I used to be able to take an pdf file... and just slide it over to OneNote.  I would then be given 3 options... 1- insert a link to the original file, 2-insert a copy of the file onto the page and 3-(don't remember the exact wording) Insert a printed copy so you can make changes?????  I had a crash and had to reload my computer so...

this was quite useful - I don't remember if it is some tip I had gotten on the net or if it was some option that was available????    I found it quite useful.   I do use OneNote intensively.  Scan all my domcuments into it instead of keeping paper files so...

I would appreciate a way to be able to scan directly would be a total solution.

Hi difox,

You will need to open Microsoft Clip Organizer to scan the document. Once you have it scanned you can insert it into Microsoft Onenote.

that is not what I am looking for...  As the title say... I want to scan directly to OneNote or

as I used to do = slide a file (ex: a pdf file) which then I am able to view fully and write on it ect....  I am using Adobe Reader X  - I used to ge able to drag the file to a page on OneNote and that is all it took.

At this time all I can do when I drag a pdf file to OneNote is either copy it as a link or as an icon which can be opened with Adobe Reader...  I guess I will look online to see if I can find something about actually having the file opened in OneNote.

Hi difox,

What version of Office did you have when this was working?

Have you contacted Microsoft support about the issue with Onenote?
