Just wondered if there was some other setting to scan color pictures directly on my HP envy 5640 to my PC. ???

If you are not getting the results you want, you may need a shortcut that provides the settings.

According to the Help document on the subject, you can create a Shortcut using the Full Feature Software on the computer that will also transfer that shortcut to the printer panel.

1. Install the Full Feature Software
2. Open the Printer Assitant shortcut icon on the Desktop > select Scan a Document or Photo
