I have installed the drivers for my new HP LaserJet P1102w for USB printing. I can print the test page but can't print any documents. Help.

Sorry that you are having a problem printing. Are you printing this test page from the printer itself, or the computer?

When you try to print from another program, does it give you an error message?

Did you download the drivers from the website, or the CD?

I am having the exact same problem; I can print documents from the internet, and the test page (from computer) but I can not print any word or excel documents. I have used the print and scan doctor, and have uninstalled and reinstalled printer, with no resolution.

No error message is given. Each document I request to print appears in the queue and remains there approximately one minute, then disappears.

I have used this p1102w printer for two years without issue, until yesterday. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

@rjrlaw, How are you connected, wireless or USB?

Check to see if you have paused printing checked.

1. Click on Start Menu

2. Choose Devices and Printers

3. RIGHT CLICK on the printer

4. Choose OPEN or See What's Printing.

5. Your queue window will pop up.

6. Choose Printer (top left). Make Sure PAUSED PRINTING IS NOT checked.

Those step did nothing i tried to restart printspooler one more time and the result is still the same

Windows is sending 6.78 kB och the file that is trying to print out it dosnt mater what type of file or how big the size is it still just 6.78kB thats sending then it freezes and the only way to go on is to abort the printing

i herd from athers that this is not only for HP printers but others is doing the same after the latest win-update??

is there some way to confirm this?

See if you can download an alternative driver and see if that works.

(Shane_R) has a great post on how to download it.

I downloaded all 3 alternative drivers and none of them worked.
