Hello
Somebody Please help
When I use my printer to make copy, it sudenly stop and black ink indicator start blinking, I replace with new one but the same error still occurs.
I tried to clean contact at printer and catridge too but it doesnt help ( as they suggest on the web).
I buy this printer and buy ink at big bookstore ( I'm sure they not fake, i check the hologram etc etc)
This printer is over 1 year old and I just use 3 black ink and 2 color for that period ( home use)

Hi lestari,
You might take a look a the following link that addresses incompatible ink cartridges and do any steps not yet taken. Click Here
If still having trouble, you might try doing an Ink System Reset. To do this, remove the ink cartridges. Close the carriage access cover. Follow the Hard Reset instructions in the following link. Click Here Once the printer powers back up and indicates that one or more of the ink cartridges are missing, re-seat one of them and close the access door until the cartridge registers. Repeat the process until all cartridges are reseated. Did this help?

You're welcome. I wish it would have worked for you.
The only other thing I can think of to try, would be a semi full reset. If successful, this would reset the printer to factory defaults and clear the memory. If the printer was on a wireless network, it would be taken off and would need to be reconnected. If you want to give this a try, I can send the steps in a private message to your HP Forums in-box. I would need you to agree not to publish the steps. Let me know what you decide.

You are welcome and I wish we would have had more success.
That was a good idea to try the cartridge in your friend's printer. The Semi Full Reset is pretty much the last step in troubleshooting. Since there was no success in troubleshooting, the problem is most likely a hardware problem with the printer. You confirmed that with the test you did with your friend. Unfortunately, it is probably time to replace the printer.
