hp3210 using windows xp
I'm getting a ink system failure error 0xc05d0281. I was getting error 0xc05d0381 before I replaced the yellow cartridge. All my ink level are good because I replaced almost all of them and I had a message that all ink cartridges are genuine HP. I use hp02's.
I tried the reset by unplugging, remove the cartridges and restore the printer and still get 0281. Before I got 0381.
I found thru a search a hp3210 secret menu. The problem here is I get to Mfg Commands-Enter Speacial Key Combo,Press 1,2,3, I get uiaux-Support-R0043. I can not find System Config Menu -Hardware Failure Status to clear hardware failures.
Can you help because we really need our printer back and we've been waiting for 2 weeks to talk to the hp experts?

Please click here to access the steps that should resolve the issue.
If issue still persists, call HP Tech Support for further assistance.
If you are in US , the toll free # is 1-800-474-6836 .
If you are not in US , then log on to www.hp.com , at bottom-left corner there is a world map icon, click on it and then select the region you belong to, which would then provide support options for you for that region.

jabzi, Before i give a white star is there anything else I can try? I tried your link and now i get error 0xc05d0381 back. How can I get to the System config menu and the Hardware Failure Satus menues to clear all errors? Hp gives me the impression that maybe cleaning the printhead could be the answer to my problem but on this model the printhead is not removeable or can you give instructions on how to remove the printhead for my HP 3210 using HP02 cartridges. Thanks

The error messages pop up due to an error situation.
The error "0xc05d0381 " relates to a ink system part failure and the printer requires a service.
If your printer is Out Of warranty, you might be provided with Trade-in options .
Please call HP Tech Support for further assistance.
