I own a new HP m277dw

I can scan using the MFP directly FROM the iMac (using OS 10.11.6)

I can print directly FROM the iMac

The problem is this:

The same computer does not show up on the MFP "scan to screen".

A PC also connected does show up as the only choice

@IAS1

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.

As I Understand the HP M277dw doesn't scan to folder anymore though it functions fine otherwise,

I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate solution I need a few more details:

Are you attempting to scan to a network folder? if Yes - Try the steps mentioned on this related HP Forums post: Click here

If not, please upgrade the printer firmware using HP's official site for Softwares and drivers.

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

That'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
