I have windows XP(SP3) on my laptop and HP printer Deskjet 3940. The printer worked fine until now. Now the power light blinks on the printer. There is NO paper jam. I uninstalled and reinstalled the driver from HP website. The printer showed ready in the control panel, but as soon as i try to print a document it shows offline and the power light starts blinking. I have cleared documents from the print queue. I have tried using different USB ports but no success. I have ensured that 'use printer offline" is unchecked. I also downloaded and ran HP Print and Scan doctor. It says everything is fine and asked me to print a test page, but nothing happened when I tried to print. Print HP EXPERTS, Please Help! Thank you!
