Is there really no way or work around for cleaning cartridges or printheads with Windows 7 for my hp deskjet 5650? What a shamne hp can't keep up with Windows!! This is the last hp product I will purchase!! Perfectly good printer, but can't maintain it!! Very frustrated!!

JulieV, welcome back to the forums,

 

I have read your post about wanting to clean the cartridges or printheads on in your Deskjet 5650 printer. Although there are no available drivers for this printer with Windows 7, as the software is older, there is a work around for you, which is manually cleaning the cartridges.

 

Please see the User Guide, click on "maintenance" and "manually cleaning the print cartridges" for the proper instructions.

 

That method should work great for cleaning the cartridges.

Thank you for your help.  I actually tried using a cotton swab with rubbing alcohol to clean the print heads before I saw your email.  It worked, but I will keep your information handy.  Thanks again!!
