I am having issues with the printer's toner I am using original hp toner but am not getting 10000 sheets from the toner

I just got a message that the toner was low and it  is indicating that 6499 pages  have printed and that  approximaTELY 250 sheets are left  . What could be the problem  the last toner i replaced prior to this one only lasted  8000  prints I print tax forms so I go through alot of toner but I am not sure what the problem is.

Hi,

Do you use

(a) Standard print: that means 5% page coverages ?

(b) Print 10,000 pages continuosry in one go ?

If yes for both (a) and (b) then you could get 10,000 pages otherwise the best you can get is around 70% to 80% or even less if you printed a lot of bold characters, larger font sizes ....

Regards.
