Hi @samg81,
Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. :). I understand that you need information about the printer being capable of printing envelopes of a certain size as specified in your post. I will be really glad to assist you here.
Great description and superb diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂 It is paramount to assist you as you are a valuable HP customer. I take it as a genuine pleasure to share this platform with you. 🙂
Please find the link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-4650-all-in-one-printer-series/5447930/model/54479... that gives the product specifications of the printer. Please check under paper handling.
There is a list of supported envelopes. The size that you mentioned is not supported. You will need to use only the supported envelope sizes for this printer.
Please visit this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-4650-all-in-one-printer-series/5447930/model/54479... on how to print on an envelope and that should be useful for the recommended sizes that the printer supports.
Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.
To simply say thanks, please click the "Thumbs Up" button to give me a Kudos to appreciate my efforts to help. If this helps, please mark this as “Accepted Solution” as it will help several others with the same issue to get it resolved without hassles.

Thank you for the information but I do have one question I can't seem to locate the list of supported envelopes that you had mentioned from the links you provided. Can you be more specific where that information actually is . I would greatly appreciate it . I would really love to see that list cause there is another size envelope I am wondering if I can print as well A7 51/4 X 7 1/4 and having that list available to me would be a great reference to turn to when I need to print an enevelope. Thank you again.

Found the envelope section you had mentioned in your previous post I don't see the A7 5 1/4 X 7 1/4 size envelope. Can I do a custom size envelope in Microsoft word by clicking the page layout tab then click on custom margins at the bottom then click on paper size and click custom paper and type the specific size that I need ? Can I do this for both size envelopes that I want to print?

Hi @samg81,
I reviewed the quick response. Excellent work and great persistence displayed to try and get the issue resolved. Kudos to you for that. 🙂 If the printer specifications do not include this paper size in the list, then it is not supported at all.
I will give you a link to create custom sizes and use it. You could give it a shot. But I am sure that is only shooting in the dark.
