the small roller sitting on top of paper stack doesn't turn to feed the paper into the big rollers in the printer. I opened the door on the bottom of the printer under the ink cartridges and found black chunks of something I think must be dried printer ink. I opened the access door for the printer cartridges and found more. I pulled out all that I could. Maybe there is more dried ink stopping whatever mechanizm is supposed to turn the small roller? How can I open the printer to clean out more dried ink?
I've already tried the recommended paper jam fixes, etc.
My printer is no longer under warrantee.
the rollers are clean.
Does anyone know how to access the area under the ink cartriges to clean out dried printer ink?
Thank you.

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.
Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.
I understand that your HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One Printer does not feed paper. I also see that there is ink dried up on the paper pick rollers.
This could be a hardware issue with the printer.
Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.
And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Cleaning the All-in-One

the ink is not on the rollers. the rollers are clean.
thank you for telling me that the small roller doesn't feed in the paper. I thought it did because it is the only roller that comes in contact with the paper.
When I try to print, I can hear the printer trying to do something mechanical. If rollers other than the small one are supposed to somehow come in contact with the paper, that doesn't happen.
What is supposed to pull the paper from the tray? Are rollers supposed to drop down to touch the paper? Maybe the ink has clogged the mechanism that does that -- how can I look at that mechanism?
