The toner light keeps flashing. I have already installed a new toner cartridge and restarted/power cycled the printer and the problem persists. I am at a loss. Please help.

The Light on the printer flashes for lots of different errors. It may not be the tomer that is the problem. I have attached the error light document that tells you what your specific light patern means.

blueboxjs,
I recently had the same problem and after trying many solutions (new cartridge, cleaning contacts, etc.), I found that there was a sheet of paper hidden within the back of the printer. It was kinda like a paper jam but it looked like the printer was shut off mid-print.
Once I removed it, the printer recognized the toner cartridge and all went back to normal.
I hope this helps and saves you more trouble.

Brilliant. Turns out that was my problem too...a few sheets of paper stuck in the feed just a little way in. You couldn't see it until you took out the rest of the paper supply on top of it. Wouldn't have known to check for that since it was the TONER light flashing...would make more sense that the "!" light should flash in such an instance, but hey, they didn't ask me for my input when designing the printer. Jeez. Anyway, thanks for the tip!
