Oficejet Pro 6830
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My refurbished Officejet Pro 6830 which I received direct from the HP factory and installed on January 26, 2017 willl no longer scan or copy.  I have tried and retried the hard reboot with all cables disconnected to no avail.  While everythiing except the power cable is disconnected, I select copy and then color and nothing happens. I cannot cancel the operation anyother way than unpluging the printer.  This printer replaced a Officejet Pro 6835e with a printhead error and now this one doesn't copy or scan.  Do I need a new printer?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Sorry to hear of your issues.

It does seemed from your description that the scanner could be defective.

Are you able to get a replacement unit?

Thanks.
