Hi @jino1,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! I see by your post that you are getting the error "hpmsn180.dll has stopped working". I can help you, but I will need some more information to provide the proper steps to try and resolve this issue.

Most likely, you will have to uninstall and reinstall the printer driver.

What operating system are you using?

Mac OS X: How Do I Find Which Mac OS X Version Is on My Computer?

How to Find the Windows Edition and Version on Your Computer.

What is the full name and product number of your printer? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?

How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)

Thank You.

Thanks for showing your interest in the HP Forums! I see that you are also getting the "hpmsn180.dll has stopped working" error for your Laserjet 400 color M451nw. There is also support for the commercial printers, but I will try and help.

I will provide the steps to disable the Printer Status Notifications:
  • From Devices and Printers, right-click on your printer and select Printer Properties.
  • Go to Device Settings.
  • Disable the Printer Status Notification to see if that will help with this situation.
  • Apply and click OK.
If you are still having issues, download and run the Print and Scan Doctor.  It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it.

If you appreciate my efforts, please click the 'Thumbs up' button below. Cheers!
Please let me know the outcome. Thanks!
