i need a ppd file or driver for a hp laserjetpro mpf m130fw printer for linux mint

cannot send print jobs to a windows wireless network printer from my linux laptop.

I believe i need a driver or ppd ? file for HP MPF 130fw

Or a generic one that will print pdf's and texts...i don't use the other printer functions.

btw the printer works fine on wireless windows but model number is not in my linux mint printer driver list.

any help is appreciated,

If you have Linux Mint 18 or earlier use the automatic istaller:

If you have the latest Linux Mint 18.1 try performing a manual install and see if it may work, no official support is offered for Linux Mint 18.1 at this time:

Thanks for your fast response.

Unfortunately when I try to download HPLIB

I cannot seem to find my printer model name in any of

the lists needed to install HPLIB on my Linux Mint 17.1 laptop.

So it is like I could go no further unless you would

know of a HP Laserjet printer model which uses the

same drivers as my model...HP Laserjet MFP M130fw.

Its strange but I did see a MFP M128fw and MFP M132fw but no

M130fw in the lists.
