As administrator I tried to install DJ_AIO_03_F2200_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe1603 (which I have downloaded on c:\user\administrator\donwload\.)
The first time I selected every optional software, the second time I selected only the basic drivers
In both cases I received the error code 04446471 (exit code, X:\dot4prt.inf cannot be found, etc.)
I also tried to use hppiw.exe (hp printer install wizard), but nothing changed: I always get the same error. The device is still in a wrong status
On windows 7 everything was ok: the o.s. automatically installed the drivers!!!

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP forum.
Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-f2200-all-in-one-printer-series/3390944/m...
Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
One suggestion would be to uninstall any instances of the previous software first before reinstalling.
Hope that helps.

Thank you very much but download and install the FULL feature printer software from http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-f2200-all-in-one-printer-series/3390944/m... has been my first step. It is from that web page that I downloaded the DJ_AIO_03_F2200_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_140_404-4.exe file for windows 10.
PS I uninstalled any instances of the previous software each time before reinstalling.

HI,
We'll like to suggest that you try the Revo Uninstaller to uninstall and then try reinstalling again.
Hope that helps.

I installed and used 'revo unistaller free trial' (http://www.revouninstaller.com/) but nothing has changed. Until today i even followed these article (x:\util\ccc\uninstall_L1.bat through uninstall_L4.bat) and I cleaned the register (I deleted 'hewelet packard' in hkey_local_machine and hkey_current_user), the hidden device and every hp driver that I found into printer server property of any printer device (see next print screen) ...
May be it is a problem of my windows 10 installation but I'm asking me why in the error message 'x:' is mentioned (the installation files have been extracted and placed into 'c:\users\administratrator\appdata\local\tmp\XXXXX\')
