Officejet Pro 8210
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I recently purchased an Hp Officejet Pro 8210 it came with 954 ink cartridges. After looking on line it says that printer for the USA should be the 952 and I could not find the 954. I bought the 952 and when i try to install them it comes up with a incompatible ink error message.

What country was the printer originally sold in?  If it was originally from another country and moved to the USA you will need to  Contact HP to request a "Regionalization Reset". There should not be any charge for this, it is covered as part of the cartridge warranty. You will need to have access to your computer and printer while on the line with HP. You will also need to have a complete set of cartridges for the new region, once the reset is complete cartridges from the original region will no longer work.  HP's web page on the subject is here.

This may be a problem you will need to take up with the Amazon seller.  I would suggest starting by contacting HP, if things get messy there (they probably will, as the first question they may ask will be what country the printer originated in...) then contact the seller and ask for relief.
