Officejet Pro k8600
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello!

My hp k8600 prints one page (this page is good) and then it stops, so I can't print multiple pages documents.

This problem occurs with WIndows 7, Vista and also Linux System.

I've already unistall and reinstall HP drivers, but nothing changed.

Can you help, please???

Thanks,

Elena

@elena00,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are unable to print in color from your HP Officejet Pro K8600 Printer.

This issue could occur if the grayscale printing option is enabled in the driver settings on the computer.

Let's go through a few steps to resolve this issue.

  1. On your computer, search Windows for Devices and Printers.

  2. Right-click your printer, and then select Printing Preferences from the drop-down list.

  3. Select your printer again, and then click the Paper/Quality or Features tab, depending on your software. Click Advanced and uncheck grayscale printing.

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.

Hello Rainbow,
thank you for the reply, but I can't print in color, grayscale and black and white.
My hp prints only first page of my document and then the printer stops to run. If my document has 5 pages, I have to print one page at a time and shut down the printer after every page.
Have a good day,
Elena

@elena00,

Thank you for your reply, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that the printer shuts down after printing a single page.

This issue could occur if the critical updates are not installed.

Please follow the link to install the updates: Windows 7 Critical Update

If the issue still persists, then you may need to uninstall and reinstall the software from the links below:

1. Uninstalling the Printer Software (Windows)

2. Full Feature Software and Driver

Let me know if this works.

You have a good day ahead.

Dear Rainbow23,

the error occurs with Windows 7, Windows Vista and also with Linux System.

As I wrote in the first post, I've already unistall and reinstall the software many times but nothing changed.
