hp color laserjet pro MFP M277
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I'm getting large scann files in PDF when using Color Laserjet pro MFP M277n, when the same is very less when using other hp (older version) printers. Also there is also no advance setting options in the scanner, whereas it was available in older versions of hp printers for scaning.

Kindly suggest the options specially the advance setting options for smaller size PDF documents scanning.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can try this alternative scan solution;

HP Scan Extended

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/scanners/HPScanExt/HPScanExt.msi

Once it's downloaded and installed, go to Start > All Programs > HP > HP Scan Extended > Run "HP Scan Extended"

Let us know if that works.

Thanks for your reply the only added features through "HP Scan Extended" are "Cloud Save" and "Half Tone Scanning" whereas "Advance Setting" features which enables the scanned files to be smallest are missing, appreciate if you can guide me through.

HI,

Since the software is not meeting your needs, the other option is to use PDF compress software. These are available on the web.

Thanks.
