A nonprofit homeless art studio that I work with (http://backstreetart.org) has been donated a LaserJet 8150 printer. When I accepted it, I didn't realize that it was as old as it was.
I'm technically savvy enough to know that none of the connections on its backside will work with, for example, my brand new MacBook Pro.
What will be the best way to make the printer usable by modern laptops? Are there adapter cables? Is there a wifi add-on?
I appreciate any suggestions!

If you have a network the cheapest and easiest way is to install what is called a eio jet direct card in one of three eio slots in the back. You just remove the cover of one by removing the 2 screws and the card slides into the slot. You will install with the power off. I recommend the jetdirect 610N or 615N which are available on ebay at low cost.
You will need to attach the printer to your network switch or router using a ethernet cable.
Another option is a wireless jetdirect card which is more expensive.
That last option is to puchase a usb to mini parallel cable so as to plug the printer into a usb port on the notebook.
Hope some of this helps.
