My HP Photosmart C7280 "disappears" every 6 months. HP Software seems indeed unstable.
Again I had to download/reinstall the Photosmart PS A10 02 full feature software to have the printer work properly.
Installation, however, gets stuck. Tray App.msi (7ZS752A) seems to be damaged and lost.
(Windows installer keeps popping up at start up, saying the same, making my day a disaster)
HP Community advises to uninstall/reinstall the PS A10 02 full feature software.
The HP software is however STUCK, and Windows do not accept uninstalling the HP "All in one" program elements.
Catch 22. The Tray App.msi kills me, I cant get the Photosmart software uninstalled/installed properly.
I have tried the Microsoft "FixIT" repair process. The HP software, however, stays firm.
I hate the idea of lengthy reinstalling Windows to get HP software sorted out...
Could anybody assist?
Is there a way of safely uninstalling this software and/or importing/repairing the Tray App 7ZS752A ?
Your advise and assistand will make my day.

Some of the folders should meet as long as those are full..
If you cannot find a such, delete any file within the %temp% folder, those are all temp files and camn be deleted.
Run the installation file for your printer once again, a new 7z folder will be created, that one should include sucha Trayapp.msi file within its Setup folder.
while selecting Uninstall or Repair you will be prompt to browse for the file, browse to the current 7z folder, if it may require the specific folder path you may simply rename the current folder name into 7zs752A and then repeat the same.

Hi,
Click both the Windows Logo and the R keys of your keyboard, the Run dialog appears.
Type %temp% and press OK.
Locate the HP installation folder which starts with 7z (e.g. 7z1234S)
Open the Setup folder.
Open the Trayapp folder.
Right click the Trayapp.msi file (a Windows Installer Package) and select Uninstall.
If you being prompt for any MSI file, copy the path of that folder which holds the MSI file and paste it into the Browse dialog, be sure to confirm any shown prompt.
Next browse two steps up back to the 7z folder.
Open the UTIL folder.
Open the CCC Folder.
Double click on Uninstall_L4 and allow any uninstallation to complete, reboot your PC once required to.
Note: if only a black command prompt dialog appears press Enter once and the uninstall will begin.
Once restarting your PC, reinstall the latest HP Software.
Once the installation completes, install the following software update which may prevent such issues in the future:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL35976/mp-89191-1/CPE_SLP_NETWORKMSI_hpcom_000_006.exe

Thanks for responding urgently.
There were 19 - nineteen- 7z temp files in the folder.
The one missing 7zs752A is unfortunately NOT among them.
Which one do I choose?
When opening a setup file (when I eventually find the right one), I do see the trayapp file.
When opening the trayapp file, however, I see NO msi.file; only so called "cabinetfiles"
When right click, I have no "uininstall" option.
Am I in the right "place"?
Please advise.

Thanks, Shlomil. Your guidance appreciated. The TrayApp went quiet and the printer works without hick ups. The HP Solutions program, however, could not be installed. Thanks to the generic Microsoft print/scan I am okay. JP
