Good day, my printer is showing 59.9 Error. How do I fix it? I brought my printer to an event and it was working perfectly fine, but after I brought back my printer to our office, it started showing this error message. I tried to turn it off and on several times but it is still showing the same error message. Please help, my printer is just months old.

Thank you so much!

Hi @Mackie_Buena,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums! I understand that you are getting the error "59.9". I would be happy to help you.

The product has experienced a problem with one of the motors.

I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.

Turn off the power by using the power switch.
If a surge protector is being used, remove it. Plug the product directly into the wall socket.
Wait at least 30 seconds, and then turn on the power and wait for the product to initialize.

If the issue persists, keep the printer turned Off for 3 mins and turn it back ON.
If the Issue persists service the printer.

If the issue continues, please contact  HP Customer Support to find out what service or trade-in options are available. Fill in the model number and the form to receive a case number for quicker assistance.

If the issue is resolved and you appreciate my help, please click the "Accept as Solution" and the "Thumbs Up" buttons. Let me know how you make out. Cheers!
