the manual does not have or show instructions to move the toner cartridge to the front for replacement.

my touchscreen has a message that the toner is low but I cannot touch it to have the cartridge move to teh front for replacement like I can if the various color cartridges are low.

how do I get the toner cartridge to rotate to the front to be changed?

Hi @susanism,

Welcome to HP Forums,

this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand you are getting an error message on your HP LaserJet printer. I'll be really glad to help you with this,

Please make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.

Please perform a Hard reset on the printer.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Remove USB cable, if present.

Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

I have found a wonderful document which should help to resolve this issue, please follow this link.

If the issue persists, I would suggest you follow the steps suggested in the support document for - 'Original Jam: Clear jam, and then press OK' Displays for the HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M177fw Printer - Click here

Please respond to this post with the result of your troubleshooting. I look forward to hearing from you.
