The printing  cuts short not completing a full sheet. prints approximately 6 or 8 inches (from a 36"x24" format) stops, begins humming and then feeds the rest of the blank sheet and cuts it. The printer is connected to the router via ethernet cable.

any help will be appreciated.

For sure you used wrong paper size for your image & caused blank & cut off.

Not  sure what size roll you were using ? if 24" roll & you can rotae the image in portrait mode & enter paper size

24" wide & 38" in portrait mode.... leave some space for margine.

if you have 36" roll & set paper to landscape mode & paper width 36" & 26" high.  if 42" roll & you enter 42" wide & 26" high in landscape mode. paper was not expensive & leave more space for margin better.

If you always print the same size, go to your printer property & print preference... enter the right size & save it... then apply.

I had this problems countless times before & wasted  lots of expensive materials.
