HP LaserJet 1020
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I'm trying to share an HP Laserjet 1020 Plus on a Windows 7 Pro 32 bit computer for Windows 8 64 bit.  It works fine on the Windows 7 32 bit computers .  The problem is that the driver comes as an executable.  I don't see how to install the 64 bit driver on the 32 bit computer that is sharing it.  I am trying to do, but the print driver is asking for an INF file that can be added to the "additional drivers" dialog in printer properties.  Is there any way I can install a 64 bit driver on a 32 bit computer for this model?  Please help..

@Ida_SSS,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that you want to install the 64-bit driver on the 32-bit computer that is sharing it.

Please note that HP does not support dual boot systems. Hence, you may need to install the drivers on a computer that has only one operating system (Windows 7 Pro 32 bit or Windows 8 64 bit).

I hope you have a good day ahead.
