Welcome to HP Support Forums. 🙂 I came across your post and would like to help.
I understand that you have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer and when the printer is connected to wifi and when you try to print, it says error printing PCL-3(network). I'd like to assist you with this case.
The PCL (Printer Command Language) language provides the highest level of communication between the system and the printer. I would like to know if any changes (hardware or software) took place on the printer after which this issue may have started. Meanwhile, I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
- If the printer drivers are already installed then I suggest you to uninstall them: Uninstalling the Printer Software (Windows) or Uninstalling HP Printer Software (Mac).
- Please download and install the printer drivers for the printer depending on the operating system you use (Windows or Mac): www.123.hp.com.
Once the drivers are successfully installed, please check if the printer is able to print. If the issue persists then download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor program.
I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Feel free to let me know the results. Good luck! 🙂
