My hp Officejet 6830 shut off I can't get it turned on again. Why!
Lots of things can cause this, including and not limited to:
- Printer power supply failed
- Printer switched off incorrectly
- "Low voltage" or "fluctuating power" condition caused by the printer being connected (plugged in) with a surge protector
- Voltage spike from wall socket power
- loss of power from wall socket (where printer is plugged in)

"How-to"
Service guides for printers are generally available to qualified repair technicians. That being the case, there may hope: Search online for HP Officejet Pro 6830 Service and Maintenance Manual .
Be Aware: Be wary of random files and downloads you find on the Internet -- safety first! Do not bring bugs into your computer!
