My hp officejet6830 shut off I can't get it turned on agaien Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lots of things can cause this, including and not limited to:

 

  • Printer power supply failed
  • Printer switched off incorrectly
  • "Low voltage" or "fluctuating power" condition caused by the printer being connected (plugged in) with a surge protector
  • Voltage spike from wall socket power
  • loss of power from wall socket (where printer is plugged in)

Nope was working fine about an hour ago then all of a sudden amessage came up on the screen saying shutting down

Service guides for printers are generally available to qualified repair technicians.  That being the case, there may hope:  Search online for HP Officejet Pro 6830 Service and Maintenance Manual .
