I have problems with the transport of Agfa photopaper. I have cleaned every part of the HP officejet Pro 8610. I have placed 20 papers. Yet most of the time the paper is not picked up/transported and the indication is that there is no paper placed .

I understand that you are facing an issue with your printer not picking photo paper.
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Have you tried to make a copy using the photo paper and check if the printer picks the photo paper? (Place a blank page while making a copy.)
Are you able to print on regular paper?
Does the printer pick regular paper?
Recommend you to refer to the paper-handling specifications of your printer and check if the photo paper you are using is supported by the printer. Click here for the printer specifications.
Supported Photo paper is less than 250 g/m2 (66 lb bond) as per specifications.
As you claim to have cleaned the rollers, please refer to this article and check if you have missed any steps.
Make sure the paper and print settings are set correctly.

Thanks for all your suggestions.
I followed all your instructions. There is no problem with the copying on the agfa fotopaper. The agfa paper is 204g/m2 which is within the range of the officejet.
However the problem isn't solved. The garanty for the machine is over since 1 year. So I don't know if the HP phone service is still available. I never used the photprinting before, so I wasn't aware of the problem before.
