Hi,
I have a new computer with Windows 10. I have installed the driver as downloaded from the HP support site. However, when I look at my printer settings it says: driver not available. And if I start HP Solution centre, it says that the installation of the printer is not completed. What did I do wrong and how to repair this?

The Specifications report that this printer requires a USB printer cable to be connected between the printer and the computer.
Printer:
HP Photosmart C3180 All-in-One Printer
Full Feature Software
File name: AIO_CDA_NonNet_Full_Win_WW_140_408-4.exe
Release details
Released: Dec 14, 2015
Version 14.8.0
Printer software should be installed first -- the printer USB cable is connected only when directed during the final stages of the installation of the program setup.
You might try the following:
- Disconnect the USB cable from the printer
- Create a Restore Point
- Ensure Adbobe Reader DC and Adobe Flash are installed and up-to-date
- Download a new copy of the Full Feature Software
- Remove the existing printer program(s) from Apps and Features
- Stop all programs > Shut down > boot the computer and log in
- Install the printer software > connect the USB cable when instructed to do so
- Stop all programs > Shut down > boot the computer and log in
Help, suggestions, and examples:
Install Full Feature Software – Printer
NOTE: If the computer has been recently migrated to Windows 10, you may need to >> download a fresh copy of the Full Feature software > remove the existing printer software > reboot > install Full Feature Software > reboot

Unfortunately, it still doe'n't work.
I did all the steps you suggested. In the Settings I can see the printer/scanner but there is also the message that the driver is unavailable. And when I open the Solution Centre, it also says that the printer is not completed.

Excellent solution.
If you have issues later, ensure you have Adobe Reader DC and Adobe Flash installed and up-to-date.
