hp photosmart premium c309g will not print black. alignment failed

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve black not printing on your Photosmart c309g.  Note that alignment requires black and cyan to print properly - if either fails the alignment will fail.  Once you have black working properly you can run the alignment page again.

Ended up blowing out black printer head with air an it fixed it. thanks
