How do I adjust the print quality? I used to be able to choose "draft quality" or "Best". Now I don't see that choice when the print dialogue box comes up.

A very warm welcome to the HP community. A very good day to you.
I understand that you have an HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer. I read that you're no longer able to choose the "draft quality" or "Best" quality mode as these options are absent in the print settings. Not worry, I'll do my best to help you.
This usually happens if there is an issue with the printer drivers.
To provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did any software changes or updates happen for the printer recently?
- Did you try to reinstall the drivers?
Meanwhile, I did some research on this case and suggest you to perform the following steps:
- Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor software. This is a free tool for Windows to help resolve issues with the printer drivers.
Please open the print settings and check for the draft quality and best quality options and if they are absent then let us uninstall the drivers from the root level and then reinstall them back. The below steps will help you:
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
Now, you may download and install the drivers from this link.
I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Keep me posted on how it goes. All the best! 🙂
