I have been trying for two days to sign up for printables, but every time I try my old printer keeps coming up.  I have a new printer connected to the Internet and my old printer has been completely removed from my computer.  Why is HP NOT RECOGNIZING MY NEW PRINTER?   Any suggestions?  Thanks.

Hello, @filgrastin – Hope you are well 🙂

Thanks for your continued participation with the HP forums! I'd like to help!

I see that you are having trouble accessing the HP printables. You need to first setup the HP Connected Account on your to get the printables working.

Go to http://hp.care/2d8Gjn3 and follow the steps from step 3.

Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!

Good luck 🙂

Thank you so much for your reply.  After trying for three days to get printables for my new printer I went to the Website that you recommended, and found out that "printables are retired."  I wish I had know that a few days ago when I installed my new printer.  However, I do have the satisfaction of knowing that my new printer was very easy to install and connect to the Internet and everything is working.  I will miss the printables, in particular the news synopses, recipes and the crossword puzzles, but at least I will stop looking for them.  Thanks again for your help.

Hello, @filgrastin

I used to love the puzzles myself. So I do understand your difficulty 😞

But, most of the printables are unaffected. Also, you can try and use the alternate ways to get the printable services. Please check: http://hp.care/2nkHcMn (Can I still access the content I used to get from HP Printables?)

Thank you for your reply to my question about "printables."  After trying for several days to have them resumed I finally received a message "Printables have been retired and are no longer available."  I was sorry to learn that they are "retired" but everything else on my printer is working fine thanks to the wonderful support that I received on this website.  Thanks again for your help.
