Laser Jet Pro 400 Color M451dn

I was given this 2nd hand printer, which is an end of contract device, by one of my sons who is a manager with the leasing company. Initially it operated in line with previous colour Laser Jets I have used. Recently the cooling fan(s) have been running continuosly for at least 15 minutes, even from power up. I have not made any changes that I am aware of.

I have original HP cartridges in the device, which came with the printer.

The usage statistics are, Total Impressions = 3318, Monochrome Impressions = 3180, Color Impressions = 138, Total Equivalent Impressions (A4/Letter) = 3304.5, Monochrome Equivalent Impressions (A4/Letter) = 3173.0, Color Equivalent Impressions (A4/Letter) = 131.5, Duplex Sheets = 1202, Jam Events = 1, Mispick Events = 0. These strike me as extremely low for a commercially used device.

The printer operates via ethernet from either a PC or laptop, both of which are Windows 10 Professional 64 bit devices. The driver is HP LJ300-400 color M351-M451 PCL6 installed from a downloaded HP LJM351_M451_Series-15188-full_solution.exe file (file version 1.4.1926.0).

Any advice on this issue much appreciated
