Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

If it's from the official HP website, should be ok to use.  Reason for the message is the that the printer is older than the OS, who may have new policies requiring manufacturers to have their drivers "signed".

Just to be sure, use this resource to get your driver:

http://123.hp.com/us/en/

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Hope that helps!

it didn't work because oficial driver was signed in 2015 for windows 10 build 1511 since build 1607 (RS1) window check the digital signature again. now build 1703 (RS2) use windows defender security center to re-check the signature. the oficial software and drivers is only compatible with first builds of windows 10.

Hi @marce27pass,

We asked our colleagues to take a quick look into this and they were able to install the software.

Could you check to see if there are any settings that could be blocking the install?

Thanks.

yes, the software and drivers install correctly, no warning at this point. but in a couple of days windows defender security center display a warning, when i look for the message it says that windows needs a valid signature for the driver and block the hp software, causing no funtioning.
