Need some direction.   We use an accounting software called QuickBooks.  As a business we print many checks to our suppliers---we have done this for years.

We just installed the new printer HP Office Jet Pro 8715.  So here is the question:

Where on/in the printer do you put the blank checks to be printed?

Thanks ahead...

@jws57

Let me take a moment to thank you for posting on the HP Support Forums.

I understand that you have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8715 All-in-One Printer and would like to know where in the printer to insert the check leaf to print on it. I'll surely help you with this.

  • Just like any other normal paper, the check leaf should be placed in the input paper tray of the printer.
  • The side on which the name, amount, etc needs to be printed should be facing up when the check is placed in the input paper tray.
  • However, the page orientation needs to be selected from the software that you're trying to print from (QuickBooks). You need to check if the check needs to be fed vertically or horizontally.

I hope this information helps. Let me know. Good luck! 🙂
