Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

The Riddle_Decipher is at your service.

As I Understand the printer isn't printing as it should anymore,

No worries as I'd love to help, however, I need a few more details to provide an accurate solution:

Did you attempt updating the printer drivers or firmware to fix the issue?

Also, did you attempt to change the printer settings to ensure you select the right paper quality? if you aren't, please follow the below steps:

  1. Right-click or tap and hold the lower left corner of the screen to open the menu, click or tap Control Panel, click or tap Devices and Printers, double-click or double-tap the name of your HP printer, and then click HP Print Assistant to open the HP printer software.
  2. Double-click or double-tap Print & Scan.

  3. Click or tap Set Preferences. The Printing Preferences dialog box opens.

  4. Click or tap the Paper/Quality tab.

  5. From the Media drop-down, select the paper type that matches the paper loaded in the input tray and the desired print quality.

  6. Click or tap the Advanced tab. The Advanced Options dialog box opens.

Click here for more details and steps.

(Use the windows 8 tab as the steps are similar to that of windows 10).

Keep me posted,

If the information I've provided was helpful,

Give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

That'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Good Luck.
