HP Envy 7640 Series

I am trying to print on legal size paper but it will not fit into the tray. I have pulled the top part of the tray off and put the paper in but it still sticks out. Very confused cause everyone on here says you can but just can't figure it out.

Thank you.

@verna2197, Welcome back to the HP Forums!

I hope to help you out with the issue you're having with fitting legal sized paper in the paper tray to your Envy 7460. If you are to look to the left along the front edge of the paper tray itself (inside), you'll see a silver tab that you can slide up to release the "lip" of the tray down to fit the legal size paper. I posted an image to try to help you see where the tab is I am speaking of (outlined in red).

Loading paper great, but how then do you get a 14” copy to print? Thank you!
