Hi all,

 

I have been using this printer for paper printing with no problem since I purchased it.  Now I am purchasing a Nikon digital camera so I can use it with my art work.  I want to be able to print black and white (mostly) photos in up to an 8 1/2 x 11 inch format.  Will this be as simple as putting some photo paper in this printer, or will I need a more sophisticated photo printer to capture some of the abstract nuances that will be part of my photographic art?  And for color photos, such as of wildlife, will this printer do the trick?

Yes, it can print, but to make this work easier more controllable, please use the following software to print

 

     http://www.hp.com/global/us/en/consumer/digital_photography/free/software/photo-creations.html
