The cartridge is a brand new HP cartridge (NOT reburbish). The control says the ink is fine but prints a yellow tint on pictures. I don't know where to begin. It doesn't seemt to be a driver issue, or is it? HELP

Hi ,
I am a HP employee.

It may not be the driver issue.
1. Try uninstall all the inks and try to install again.
2. Perform a HARD power cycle now( power off & on from AC inlet)
3. Do a power cycle from the control panel on/off button.
4. Once teh printer is initialized fully, try to print. It shoudl solve by now.

also you may try to do cartiadge clean on the print? if possible, you may try to print on another type of photo media to see any difference it will make. If the yellow tint(thoughout the pages) persists, I'll say it could be color map issue.

But even for the low end of HP printer, the color of picture should be acceptable.
