How do I fix the color misalignment?
The color is printing as if in a 3-D movie (out of phase). I've run the toner report and the black prints fine but all the colors are out of alignment.
The printer is 1 month old. This is a hard-wired connection.
I would prefer to make any fixes from logging into the IP address as the printer is in a different building.
How do I fix this?
Thanks!
Yvette

Your color planes need aligned. You can force a calibration through the control panel:
1. On the product control panel, open the System Setup menu.
2. Open the Print Quality menu, and select the Color Calibration item.
3. Select the Calibrate Now option.

First, you can do the calibration from a separate building by opening a web browser and typing the IP address only into the upper window of your screen. Unless there is a password set, you should find the ability to calibrate. Since calibrate ALL seems not to have worked for the color plane registration, you might have to go to the machine and see if all 4 cartridges are seated completely in their cartridge slots. If the cartridge is not centered and completely installed, it can work but the machine's ability to calibrate colors may not be able to bring it into alignment because it might be too far out. Keep us informed. Dovid

The most likely reason the calibration didn't fix the CPR (color plane registration) issue is the toner cartridges are low. If the toner cartridges are close to empty the patch won't be dark enough to get a good calibration. If the cartridges are not empty, we'll need a copy of the event log and diagnostics page.

As a reminder, Black prints fine, all other colors are appearing OFF from the image of the 6 dots in a pyramid shape next to the colors in Color Diagnistics
