I just purchased and set up a new HP LaserJet Pro M201dw.
I am often getting an error trying to print pages with graphics. I am getting this error from an iPad printing wirelessly and from an iMac printing over ethernet.
The computer screen (Macintosh iMac running Yosemite with 16GB of memory) gives the error "The device has insufficient memory to print the page. To continue, do one of the following: press the OK button at the device to print a partial page, reduce the complexity of the page, or add memory to the device.
The device says "Memory is low. Job cancelled."
I can get six full pages with graphics to print, can get 9 of 10 pages to print (see below), yet it will choke on a single page.
I tried to print the first 10 pages of this site
http://crochetncrafts.com/cross-over-long-dc-hat/
The first nine pages printed, error on the 10th page. Tried printing just pages 9 and 10, page 9 printed and then got the error. Tried printing just page 10 and still got the error. Using their "Print Friendly" at the end of the instrucions (around page 10) worked, printing 6 pages including the graphics.
This is not the only website that I have had this problem with.

Hi @cnansen ,
I see that you are getting memory errors when printing. I would like to help you out today.
The drivers for Yosemite are installed by the Apple Updates.
Check the driver name that is installed for the printer. Make sure it shows just the printer's name.
Click the Apple menu and then click System Preferences. Click Printers & Scanners, highlight the printer name on the left side and on the right side of the screen, it should show the printer's name. (Laserjet Pro M201dw) Make sure the Default printer is selected correctly also.
If the full printer name isn't listed correctly, delete it and add the printer name back in from the list. Click the - sign to delete the driver and then click the + sign to add the driver, you might have to click the drop down to select the printer's name to add it in.
Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet. (don't use a power hub or a surge protector) This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Try turning your printer off and on again. This should clear the memory from the printer.
Every so often, power cycle your printer to clear the memory and you should not have this problem in the future.
You might have to do a hard reset.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
I have provided a document with some steps to try to see if that will resolve the issue.
Resolving Control Panel Messages.
I believe you can only set the print driver to Optimize for Raster on Windows.
Please call our technical support at 800-474-6836 if the issue persists. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link below to get the support number for your region.

We got memory errors when we had not taken off the Orange tab covering the chip on the tonor cartridge. Once done the error goes away.
If you fail to take out the other ORANGE sticker on the side of the tonor you will hit print and nothing will print. 🙂
